Measurement of thermal conductivity

cond
Thermal conductivity is a physical property that quantifies the attitude of a material to transmit heat. The knowledge of the thermal conductivity is fundamental for the evaluation of energy efficiency of material for buildings and industrial systems. EELab has a guarded hot plate apparatus for measurement of thermal conductivity in compliance with the ASTM C-177 Standard and derivatives. The test requires a set of two identical samples with a square base of 300x300 mm.
