Measurement of thermal diffusivity
Thermal diffusivity is defined as the ratio between the thermal conductivity and the specific heat capacity of a certain material. The knowledge of the thermal diffusivity of a material can allow an indirect information on the thermal conductivity or the specific heat capacity of the material itself. EELab is developing an apparatus for measuring the thermal diffusivity according to an innovative modification of the Angstrom’s method.
