Laboratory accredited ISO 17025
EELab is the Energy Efficiency Laboratory of the Engineering Department "Enzo Ferrari"of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. It was drawn from the know-how of the Thermal Fluid Group in the fields of energy efficiency and measurement of thermal properties.
The laboratory offers a wide range of services for supporting the research and development of advanced and innovative solutions for energy efficiency.
Among the available services:
• Measurement of thermal conductivity and diffusivity
• Measurement of thermal emittance, solar reflectance and SRI for LEED and Ecolabel certification
• Simulation of the thermal behaviour of complex systems
• Thermal bridge calculation and analysis of moisture condensation risk
• Energy auditing of buildings and processes
• Microclimatic evaluations
• IR thermography
The laboratory is located in Modena (Italy), via Vivarelli 10.
